Super Mario Party Jamboree continues the tradition of first-party games from Nintendo that have leaked online prior to launch, and the ROM appears to be out there. Obviously the Big N won’t be happy to hear that.
Super Mario Party Jamboree has about a week to go before release, but it seems that there’s at least one person out there who managed to get a copy early. On top of that, we’re hearing reports that the ROM already surfaced.
It’s true that Super Mario Party Jamboree is far from a spoiler-heavy title – there isn’t really much of a story to speak of. We also pretty much know about the major content such as new characters Pauline and Nabbit. Still, if you’re someone that’s sensitive to content spreading online prior to release, this news is something to keep in mind.
It goes without saying that Super Mario Party Jamboree is far from the first Switch game with an early ROM leak. For instance, something similar happened with Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
Super Mario Party Jamboree will be available for Switch worldwide on October 17, 2024. An in-store demo for the game recently popped up at a few different retailers, which you can read about here.
Thanks to Famiboards for today’s news.
