Rolling Football Player Switch Review

Rolling Football Player is a terrible game. The entire idea is terrible and makes no sense. For one thing, it says this is [influenced by] parody. However, I’m not sure who its parodying or why. Even if it is a parody, it won’t help this because of the horrible game play. Observe:

I’m not being terrible on purpose, it’s really that bad.

Rolling Football Player bills itself as “a bizarre athletic game where an eternally rolling soccer player takes on athletic challenges! Push your limits in single-player mode!” What this means is crappy platforming with an unresponsive character who can’t surmount the simplest challenges like, jumping on a table. The camera is terrible, often obscuring the action. Often, the objects just plain disappear. The sound is really low on default(that’s how it sounds on the Switch). I suppose you can make it louder somewhere, but why would you want to? There’s nothing to listen to. There are two modes, normal and easy in Rolling Football player. Normal has no checkpoints. So always play on easy because, again, the game play is horrendous.

Rolling Football Player Switch Review

This gets a Garbage with a one back-end score. Normally, that score is reserved for scam games, but I’m giving it to this because Rolling Football Player is just that bad. It might as well have been a Midnight Works title. Actually, Midnight Works titles have been better than this. I know, the idea is shocking, but it is absolutely true. I don’t know why game was created, or much effort was put in, but it was not enough. I don’t why the developer took the time to translate(poorly). Roll this in a pit and never come back.

Overall: Rolling Football Player could be a scam game, or it could not be. All I know is, it is absolute trash and not worth anyone’s time.

Verdict: Garbage
