NASCAR 25 Developer Diary: “Sights and Sounds of Race Day”

iRacing has put out the fourth developer diary for NASCAR 25, their highly anticipated racing game this fall for PC and consoles. Entitled “Sights and Sounds of Race Day,” the new video explores how the game replicates the chaotic atmosphere of an entire race day, placing players in the midst of the action from the driver’s perspective—whether they are in the pits, the garage, or destroying the speedway.

The video features commentary from Executive Producer Dale Earnhardt Jr., and NASCAR Cup Series spotters TJ Majors and Josh Williams, who also do voice over work for the game. They discuss the effort that has been put into replicating the raw emotion and the unmistakable sounds of NASCAR racing to provide the most immersive NASCAR experience ever.

All four top-tier NASCAR series, the Cup Series, Xfinity Series, Craftsman Truck Series, and, this year new, the ARCA Menards Series, will be featured in NASCAR 25. Across all four series, the game will pit players against actual-world drivers and offer the ability to delve into a rich Career Mode where they can create and customize a driver, negotiate contracts, manage finances, and make key decisions that will dictate their journey toward the top-tier Cup Series. In addition, all four series will be supported for short races, full seasons, and online multiplayers, as well as providing players with choices in how they race and compete.
