MLB The Show 25 recently dropped its 10th title update, and it’s a real doozy. Rolled out early today, the patch includes a variety of gameplay improvements, visual adjustments, and long-awaited patches across several modes of play — including a major fix for Stadium Creator and the introduction of the Chicago White Sox 2025 City Connect uniforms.
⚾ Gameplay Changes
- Framerate Drops Fixed: Performance slowdowns owing to runners in base have been addressed.
- Co-Op Fixes: Three isolated bugs were resolved wherein players were being awarded wins and ELO inappropriately after quitting.
- Forfeit UI Improved: The clunky “Press and Hold to Accept” action in Head-to-Head forfeits is replaced with the more natural “Tap to Accept” prompt.
- GOAT Difficulty Adjustments:
- Small increase to PCI (Plate Coverage Indicator) size.
- Reduced penalties for low and away pitches.
- Stride timing for the batters revised for increased realism.
- Co-Op Crash Resolved: A frustrating crash bug while playing co-op has been fixed.
💎 Diamond Dynasty
- Zone Sweeper Rewards Bug Fixed: Stubs and XP display bugs in Diamond Quest are now resolved.
- Marketplace Order Policy: Buy/sell orders below new OVR-based price floors will now be automatically cancelled and refunded when rosters update.
- Example: A player going from Common to Bronze will remove buy orders under the new floor of 25 Stubs.
🎮 Road to the Show
- In-Game Ticker Returns: MLB game tickers now appear correctly again within RTTS.
📈 Franchise Mode
- Fixed bug that resets game statistics after using pinch hitters or pitchers with Quick Manage.
- Free agent stats now show correctly during contract negotiations.
- MLB debut patch no longer appears incorrectly on players who already have service time.
🏟️ Stadium Creator
- Players can now load and use stadiums from previous MLB The Show titles.
- Preview image glitches in the Stadium Vault have been resolved.
- Custom stadiums are now visible in online modes.
- Lighting flicker issues in outfields and dugouts have been fixed.
📘 Storylines
- Resolved an issue where the ‘Try Again’ screen displayed the wrong player after a failed moment.
