If you ever open up a Mystic Orb in Throne & Liberty, you might end up having to find and close Mystic Portals.
Mystic Portals are a fairly rare occurrence, but closing them is a good way to gain rare items such as Precious Parchments and Abyssal Contract Tokens. Plus, you get a handful of EXP too!
In this short guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know to find and close these Mystic Portals.
How To Close Mystic Portals | Throne & Liberty Guide
It’s pretty easy to close the Mystic Portals in Throne & Liberty. The tricky part is actually finding said Mystic Portals to begin with! As you can see in the example above, they look like large floating orbs. They have a random chance to appear whenever you open a Mystic Globe with a Mystic Key.

If a Mystic Portal does spawn when you open a Mystic Globe, the game will mark the general area for the portal on your map. It’s a circle that simply says “Mystic Portal Area”. Stay within the marked area and look around until you find the Mystic Portal. Hovering over the marked area on your map will also let you know how much time you have to find the Mystic Portal. You have 60 minutes as soon as the Mystic Portal spawns, which should be enough time.
Sadly, the location for these pesky red portals is random every time, just like their chance of appearing. In general, we recommend looking at high spots such as on top of large rocks and buildings. The Mystic Portals seem to prefer the high ground and only spawn on the ground level very rarely.
Mystic Portals are also marked on your minimap as small white swirling circles. This only happens when you’re close to them, though!
Once you do spot the Mystic Portal, you just have to get close to it and interact with it to close it and claim its rewards! So, that’s all you need to know to close Mystic Portals in Throne & Liberty.
